hey there...

yep, my kids and my husband waited in line for about an hour friday to buy an iphone for me for my birthday... what troopers! it is a very cool gadget, and i have been having some fun with it. what do i like most?... hmm... probably that i can put so many photos on it, and i can do email on it... which is very useful when i travel. also, it is very, very easy to use.

and then this afternoon, we saw the flick ratatouille... enjoyed it very much! although, as nice as the rats were, it was still somewhat disturbing to see so many in the kitchen... that's all i'll say... don't want to spoil it for anyone. it had some very funny stuff, and the animation is incredible!

on wednesday, i head for chicago for a mosaic workshop. the chicago mosaic school is hosting carolina zanelli, a teacher from spilembergo school in italy, for a 3 day workshop. my friend, ruth, and i were able to work it out, and i am really looking forward to it! we are going a day early and planning on checking out a museum or two. good chance for me to try out my new iphone, and take some pics... i don't know how to upload them to my pc... i think it can be done... and break in the email feature!
