Welcome to my online journal. This is a new experience, and it seems a bit awkward at the moment... not really accustomed to using a journal. However, I do feel that I should have some sort of introductory post to get things started.

I would like to introduce myself, so... here I am! This is one of the few pictures of myself that I find acceptable. Sorry about the sunglasses, but maybe the sun setting over the Nile will make up for it. My husband is from Cairo, Egypt. In 2005, we (myself, my husband, and our two sons) made our first visit, as a family, to Egypt. We did the Nile cruise trip from Upper Egypt, and my husband took this pic one evening on the boat.

Eventually, I will get a pic of myself (minus the shades) for my about page... upon professional advice that people like to see the artist... but I am waiting for a good-hair day... when I happen to working on a project... and someone happens to be around to take a picture.... so that it does not look as though I am posing... which, of course, I will be.

I think that this is enough for my first post. If it does not suit you, check back another time, as I am bound to improve with time.

It really is such a pleasure to have you visit, and take a look at my work. I truly hope that you feel that your time has not been wasted.
